Diane Foster, DClin Psych, PGDip - Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Berkhamsted)

 

dkavanDr. Diane Foster is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (chartered with the British Psychological Society) and Health and Care Professions Council registered Practitioner Psychologist. Dr. Foster completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London in 2000, where she specialised in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and in working with survivors of trauma.  Dr. Foster subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and since 2000 she has worked in a variety of mental health settings in the NHS including community mental health services, a primary care mental health service, a psychosexual treatment clinic, health psychology services and specialist psychological therapy services.  Her expertise lies in treating adults with anxiety and depression, including people with associated physical health conditions, and people with more complex relational or personality difficulties.  Dr. Foster first worked in Luton and Bedfordshire and then in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey until 2015, where she was a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and the Psychological Therapies Lead for Common Mental Health Problems across the three boroughs.  Dr Foster's main private clinic is in the Hertfordshire town of Berkhamsted, but she is also able to offer daytime appointments in Borehamwood.  Dr Foster is registered with Axa, Aviva VitalityHealth and BUPA.

Nicole Main, DClin Psych, Msc, PGDip - Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Watford)

 

nmainDr. Nicole Main is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Health and Care Professions Council registered Practitioner Psychologist, who qualified in 2003 from the Institute of Psychiatry.  Dr. Main has  since completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) from Oxford University and is an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)Since qualifying Dr. Main has worked for Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust, initially as a clinical psychologist in a Community Mental Health Team and an Outpatient Psychological Therapy Service, and more recently as Clinical Lead for Barnet Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service.  She specialises in treating adults with anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.  Currently Dr. Main is the Head of Enfield Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)  Wellbeing Service. Dr Main's main private clinic is in the Hertfordshire town of Watford (Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Friday mornings), but she is also able to offer Monday morning appointments in Borehamwood.  Dr Main is also registered with Axa, Aviva , Vitality Health and BUPA, as well as WPA and Cigna.
