Suchitra Bhandari, PhD, MPhil, MSc
Consultant Clinical Psychologist, HPC registered

Dr. Suchitra Bhandari, is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Chartered with the British Psychological Society) and Health Professions Council registered Practitioner Psychologist. Dr. Bhandari qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1990 and successfully completed her Ph.D in 1998,  specialising in long term effects of childhood trauma and abuse. Her main expertise has been in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for over 20 years, treating a range of emotional difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, complex personality problems and interpersonal issues.  More recently, Dr. Bhandari has trained also as an Interpersonal Psychotherapist and is now an accredited practitioner. She is currently the Head of Psychology and Psychological Services for Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and leads on professional, strategic, clinical and quality issues across all care settings in the Trust for Psychological Therapies, as well as maintaining a regular clinical caseload.   She has extensive experience in a wide variety of mental health settings within the NHS including adult specialist psychological therapy services, primary care services, and community based services.

 

Diane Foster, DClin Psych, PGDip

Dr. Diane Foster is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Chartered with the British Psychological Society) and Health Professions Council registered Practitioner Psychologist.  Dr. Foster completed her Doctorate in Clinical in Psychology at University College London in 2000, where she specialised in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and in working with survivors of trauma.  Dr. Foster subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and since 2000 she has worked in a variety of mental health settings in the NHS including community mental health services, a primary care mental health service, a psychosexual clinic, health psychology services and specialist psychological therapy services.  Her expertise lies in treating adults with anxiety and depression, including people with associated physical health conditions, and people with more complex relational or personality difficulties.  Dr. Foster first worked in Luton and Bedfordshire and then in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey where she is currently a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and is the Psychological Therapies Lead for Common Mental Health Problems across the three boroughs.

 

Nicole Main, DClin Psych, Msc, PGDip

Dr. Nicole Main is a Clinical Psychologist (Chartered with the British Psychological Society) and Health Professions Council registered Practitioner Psychologist, who qualified in 2003 from the Institute of Psychiatry.  Dr. Main has  since completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Oxford University and is an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Since qualifying Dr. Main has worked for Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust, initially as a clinical psychologist in a Community Mental Health Team and more recently as a senior clinician in the Psychological Therapies Service.  She specialises in treating adults with anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.  Currently Dr. Main is the Clinical Lead for Barnet Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)  Wellbeing Service.
