Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Services

These are NHS funded assessment and therapy services.  Most offer a range of talking therapies including counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).  To find your local service, google ‘IAPT’ followed by the area in which you live (or London Borough).  Local services include:

 

Hertfordshire IAPT: http://www.hpft.nhs.uk/our-services/community-services/enhanced-primary-mental-health-services/.  This IAPT service covers people living in Watford, Borehamwood and Berkhamsted, so long as you are registered with a GP within the Hertfordshire region.
